When and how did your business get started?

Our business was established on Aug. 27, 1994. The original building was located at 16740 Oak Park Ave., in Tinley Park. Our business was in part of my vision to open an italian deli in Tinley Park along with the help and experience of our grandfather, grandpa Mario. Through hard work, and thanks to all of our great customers, we have recently celebrated our 19th year in business.

What is your business best known for?

We are best known for our roast beef, lasagna, and bread steak sandwich which was premiered on Chicago's Best.

What's something interesting about your business your customers might not know?

I would have to say that most of our customers are unaware that we have olive oil bottled from our hometown of Ripacandida, Italy, and shipped to good old, Tinley Park.

Why did you choose the town you did to open your business?

We decided to open our business in Tinley Park for a number of reasons. First, my family decided to move from Blue Island to Tinley Park in 1992 for the great neighborhood and schools. We opened our business because we knew that Tinley Park was a growing town with so many wonderful people. Most importantly, we felt that Tinley Park was and is the heart of the surrounding communities.
