Table for You: 3 New Restaurants Opening in Tinley Park Soon

Asia Palace, Ariel's Bar & Restaurant and El Coco Mio. These eateries will soon be seating customers. Find out when and what type of cuisine they will be offering. Plus, tell us which one you're most excited about trying out and why.

No matter how much you might enjoy doing it, no one wants to cook dinner every night. Sometimes, it's nice to give yourself a break and let someone else do it for you.

That's why it's nice when new restaurants open in town. It adds a bit of adventure and excitement of the unknown to the going-out experience.

With that in mind, Tinley Park has three new eateries opening their doors this summer. Each of them is unique not only in the types of food they will serve, but also the types of atmosphere they will provide.

Check out this quick breakdown of what we know so far about these restaurants.

Asia Palace

When It Opens: Saturday, June 29
Location: 7138 183rd St.
Cuisine: Asian fusion
What Else You Should Know: Hours are 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday through Saturday; and noon to 9 p.m. Sunday.

Ariel's Bar & Restaurant

When It Opens: Around July 20 and the third week of that month
Location: 18401 North Creek Dr.
Cuisine: Irish-American
What Else You Should Know: It might be another month before Ariel's opens its doors, but the restaurant is taking advantage of that time to build up anticipation. Updates are posted on its Facebook page, and the eatery's main website has a "pre-opening journal," which has been publishing everything from a tour of the interior while it's under construction to detailed descriptions of dishes that have made the menu. Ariel's also is hiring for a variety of positions. Check out Patch's Job Hunters to see how to apply.

El Coco Mio

When It Opens: Later this summer
Location: 17344 Oak Park Ave.
Cuisine: Caribbean, Latin and tropical, with a variety of dishes from countries, such as Honduras, and featuring fruits and vegetables, such as yuca.
What Else You Should Know: The owners of El Coco Mio—Fanny and Carlos Guzman—are also the owners of Isabella, which is just a few blocks to the north on Oak Park Avenue. El Coco Mio is a passion project for the Guzmans, who specialize in Caribbean dishes when they eat at home. Some readers have been concerned that plans to open the new place had changed, but that is not the case.
