Thai Restaurant Moving into Former Home of Casto's

A sign is in place on the front lawn, and construction is underway inside new business Siam Marina, 16846 Oak Park Avenue.

Former area favorite Casto's Italian Restaurant will be replaced by upscale Thai restaurant Siam Marina.

The space at 16846 Oak Park Avenue is currently under construction; restaurant co-owner Sam Chung is eyeing a late-March opening.

Siam Marina will offer Thai cuisine and Vietnamese specialties created by Chung's wife and executive chef, Tammy Pham, a native of Saigon. Other menu items will include seafood, vegan, Asian Fusion, and vegetarian dishes, Chicago Tribune reports.  Siam Marina is already known to many loyal customers who have dined at its previous two locations in Calumet City.
