Two Local Hotels Get $750,000 Face-lifts

If you're a resident of , rather than someone who occasionally passes through, you may not realize that two local hotels recently got an expensive face-lift. But they did.

and the , both in Tinley Park’s hotel complex near Interstate 80 and Harlem Avenue each have completed $750,000 in interior renovations. Remodels at both, which are located in the 18400 block of Spring Creek Drive, have created more modern interior feels, owners said. Visitors will find a variety of refined amenities including free wifi in all guest rooms, LCD televisions, miniature refrigerators and microwave ovens.

“Significant renovations have had great impact in helping us give the feel of luxury at an economical price to our guests" said Karla Ruzich, general manager of both hotels. “Our visitors notice the improvements and appreciate the work to create a warm and inviting atmosphere where they feel comfortable.”

Comfort Inn offers 65 rooms with 17 suites including one Jacuzzi suite. The hotel has an indoor heated swimming pool, business center, fitness center, and a complimentary shuttle within five miles. The Sleep Inn has 73 rooms with a variety of double, queen and king beds. The hotel also offers a business center, fitness center, and complementary shuttle.
