Super Bowl 2013: Game Time, Where to Watch and What's on Special

Check out what's on special at local bars and pubs in Oak Forest and Tinley Park for the big game on Sunday, Feb. 3.

Super Bowl 2013 is almost here, with the showdown of the San Francisco 49ers and the Baltimore Ravens just days away. 

The XLVII Super Bowl will take place at 5:30 p.m. Sunday on CBS-TV (channel 2). Coverage of the Super Bowl will start at 1 p.m. with "Super Bowl Today" until 5 p.m. The "Super Bowl Kick Off Show" will start at 5 p.m. 

If you're looking for a place to watch the game in Tinley Park or Oak Forest here are some suggestions, along with bar specific specials:

Oak Forest:

$12 buckets of beer and free food during the game.

  • Marcotte's Bar & Grill

From 5:30 p.m. until the end of the game, Marcotte's will host a $30 all-you-can drink and food buffet.

  • Durbin's of Midlothian

$35 includes, appetizer, pizza, choice of dinner and drinks. Dinner choices are: ribs dinner, jumbo shrimp, chicken or hot wings. Dinners come with fries and garlic bread.

Tinley Park:

Hosting a $30 Super Bowl party, includes full buffet, bottle and draft beers, excluding craft beers and shots. 

  • Teehan's Irish Tavern

Regular Sunday specials, including $1.50 domestic drafts, $3 apple pie shots and $2.50 domestic bottles.

  • Buffalo Wild Wings

There will be no specials.
