Two D146 Central Middle School Students Win Awards

Tinley Park, Ill., School District 146’s Central Middle School has two students that will be traveling in style one day in November.

The two students, Maggie McCullough and Hannah Brower, were both chosen as 1st place winners in their grade levels for this year’s Tinley Park Fire Prevention Bureau’s Poster Contest. Both girls and their families attended a banquet at Eiche Turners in Tinley Park on Oct 17 where all of the colorful artwork decorated walls. This year's theme was "Prevent Kitchen Fires”.

Artwork that best represented the theme was first chosen by Central, and then sent over to the fire station where citizen and village employee voted to choose the winners.
