Air Force Academy Appointments

Air Force Academy Appointments

One of my favorite jobs, if you can call it that, is representing the United States Air Force Academy as one of their Admission Liaison Officers (ALO).  I became and Admissions Liaison Officer after my son graduated from the Air Force Academy in 2009.  I am only one of two civilian ALOs in Illinois.  The other is Joe Budzyn who lives in Mokena.  Joe's son is a 2008 graduate.

I have the distinct pleasure this year of awarding seveal Air Force Academy appointments.  Those appointment have gone to Jenna Tasic of Lincoln-Way North H.S., Zachary Reks of Sandburg H.S. and Patrick O'Shea or Marian Catholic High School.

I am proud of each and everyone of these students who have worked very hard to achieve such a great honor.  They will begin their military service this summer and when they graduate in 2016, they will join the "Long Blue Line" with may others who have attended the Academy and have served their country.
