Andrew Homecoming set for Sept 15 to 21

Andrew High School Student Council is busy finalizing plans for the school's Homecoming the week of September 15 to 21.  

On Sunday, September 15, clubs and activities will decorate windows and posters throughout the school.

On Monday, September 16, students will dress up for College Day. That evening is movie night with Remember the Titans being played at school. The $2 entrance fee will be donated to Together We Cope.

On Tuesday, September 17, students are encouraged to pick a friend and dress up for Twin Day.

On Wednesday, September 18, students will dress for Roll Out of Bed day. That evening the Powder-Puff Game will be held at 7 p.m. on the stadium field. The combined class of Freshmen/Seniors and Sophomore/Juniors will battle for bragging rights. Sugar Rush, a band composed of sophomore students will perform during the game.

On Thursday, September 19, students will channel their inner geek for Dress Like Steve Urkle Day. That evening, the first-ever Athletic Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will be held in the school's Commons beginning at 6:30 p.m. Tickets for this evening are $25.00 per person. Tickets can be purchased from the athletic office by calling Connie Virgilio at 708-342-5839 or  emailing CVirgilio@d230.org. Tickets must be purchased by September 12. Tickets will not be available at the door.

 On Friday, September 20, T- Bolt Pride will shine with females wearing gold and males wearing black. At 1:55 p.m., the Homecoming Pep Assembly will be in the main gym. That night the T-Bolts take on Lincoln-Way Central with the sophomore football game at 5:00 p.m. and the varsity game at 7:00 p.m. After the varsity game, weather pending, there will be a fireworks show for all.

On Saturday, September 21, the Homecoming Dance with the theme Midnight in Paris will be held in the main gym from 7:00 until 10:00 p.m.
