Andrew High School will host Parent University on Tuesday, September 24 to promote college and career readiness for students and their families. The evening provides an opportunity to attend multiple sessions beginning at 6:30 p.m. Topics will include an alumni perspective on the college search, the college selection process, application checklist, scholarship information, college athletic participation, serving in Armed Forces, rounding out the portfolio, ACT readiness, and planning using technology.
The keynote speaker will begin at 7:45 p.m. in the Perfuming Arts Center. Financial Aid Specialist Frank Palmasani will provide steps for financial planning that is applicable to every family. Topics will include improving financial literacy, finding affordable college options and managing college costs without excessive debt.
