LaGrange Road Closure on Monday

Between the Metra overpass and 144th Place heading southbound.

Although most residents may not venture out to the Orland Park stretch of LaGrange Road too often, we know that you sometimes do.

So it's important to note that the Village of Orland Park is advising that construction crews will require a lane closure on Monday, Oct. 3, in order to implement the southbound LaGrange Road traffic pattern switch.

A closure will be in place on the west side of LaGrange Road, in the southbound right lane from the Metra overpass crossing north of 141st Street to 144th Place. This closure will be in effect from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The traffic pattern switch on Monday will move southbound traffic to the new concrete pavement on the west side of LaGrange Rd. Northbound and southbound drivers will be separated by a work zone in the center of the roadway.

Attached to this article is an exhibit displaying the new traffic pattern. As a result, all driveways along both sides of LaGrange Road from 141st Street to 144th Place will become directional right-in and right-out only. Southbound left turns at 142nd Street into Orland Crossings will be permitted.
