Local hardware store man Bill Steinhauser has some ideas for you to save on your winter heating costs.
Studies show Americans can save as much as 10 percent on their winter heating bills by stopping leaks around doors, windows and other entry/exit points in their homes.
Bill Stenhauser, co-owner of Park ACE Hardware, 16725 Oak Park Ave., Tinley Park, talks about a couple different ways to plug a door threshold leak in a Patch video. The trick is to keep warm air in and cold air out.
