Amelia Earhart Program

Historical interpreter Leslie Goddard, a Road Scholar with the Illinois
Humanities Council, will bring to life an American aviator's courageous
exploits and spirited personality in a program entitled "Never Lost:
Amelia Earhart Before the Legend" at the next meeting of the Homewood
Historical Society at the Homewood Library.  This event is being
produced through a partnership with the Road Scholars Speakers Bureau of
the Illinois Humanities Council, which provides organizations statewide
with affordable, entertaining, and thought-provoking humanities events
for their communities.  The meeting and program are free of charge and
open to the public.  Information at 799-9055.
