Conceptual Art: The Art of the Idea

      The Southland Community Associates of the Art Institute of Chicago invites the residents of the Southland area to a lecture at the Art Institute of Chicago, 111 South Michigan.  The program is in the Price Auditorium at 10:45 a.m on December 5, 2012.  The lecture is titled, "Conceptual Art: The Art of the Idea".  Kate Kelley, an Art Institute lecturer will present thought-provoking artworks from the earliest experiments with conceptual art to present day examples.  Reservations will be accepted November 14-27,2012, by contacting Judith Hook, 708-499-9447.  Cost of admission is $10.00 payable by check to the Art Institute of Chicago.  Admission to the Art Institute is also required.         Please join us for a pleasant and informative experience.   Kay Shannon 4524 W. 101st Place Oak Lawn, IL 60453 708-422-4828 KShan41367@aol.com

Someone from the village saw my sign and has informed me that the village will be putting up speed limit signs and caution - kids playing signs this week. Good luck!!
