Community Corner

The Foreigner

Tinley Park’s Community Theater is excited to bring Larry
Shue’s “The Foreigner” to the stage Saturday, November 30th at 7:30
pm and Sunday, December 1st at 4:00 pm, with additional shows on December 7th at 7:30 pm and December 8th at 4:00 pm

Charlie, an Englishman, comes to a rural Georgia lodge where
he pretends to be a foreigner who can’t speak English.  The hilarity ensues when Charlie finds
himself witness to unusual scenarios and town secrets, by people who think he
can’t understand a word.  Several misunderstandings
make for non-stop laughter in this entertaining comedy directed by Mike Gandy
and assistant directed by Jim Sharp.

The play features Rick Baiker, of Chicago,  as Charlie; Ken Evans, of Oak Forest; Michael
D. Fisher, of Tinley Park; Andrea Fleming, of Steger; Jessica Fleming, of
Steger; Lisa Giovenco Solomon, of Chicago; and Bob Szczepanski, of Orland
Park.
