Chamber Business Expo brings Southland to Tinley Park

The Chicago Southland Chamber of Commerce presents its 26th annual Business Expo & Conference on April 21 at the Tinley Park Convention Center.

The entire day will be packed with information, workshops and network sessions.

Co-chairmen Phil Maser and Geoff Slawson expect some 100 booths. Exhibitors can register until a couple of days before the Expo.

The exhibit floor opens at 9 a.m. and is available until 4 p.m.

But the day starts at 7:30 a.m. with a keynote breakfast with an entrepreneurial panel that includes William S. Condon, president of the Condon Group Ltd., Glenn M. Horton, CEO of the Horton Group, and Tim McEnery, founder and CEO of Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurant. Chamber Chair Jeff Arseneau will moderate the discussion.

A Speed Network Lunch at 11:45 is followed by two high-energy afternoon seminars. Power Marketing, Digital Style will explore ways to embrace the Internet with maximum impact and visibility. After that, Qualifying for Cash … What’s Your Plan? This seminar will address business funding, microloans and what a company needs in the way of a business plan in order to qualify for cash.         

The Entrepreneurial Breakfast and Speed Networking Lunch each cost $25 for members, $35 for non-members. Everything else is free.
