Illinois State Treasurer Dan Rutherford was honored to be a guest of the Chicago Southland Chamber on Monday, August 12. He was introduced by Tinley Park Mayor Ed Zabrocki.
Treasurer Rutherford spoke and took questions about the ongoing fiscal difficulties of the state regarding the budget and the pension crisis. Treasurer Rutherford also promoted his I-Cash program, which helps reunite owners with their unclaimed property. He encouraged Chamber members to visit www.treasurer.il.gov to discover if they had any unclaimed property.
