American Legion Member Receives Weekly 'Good Deed Bouquet'

American Legion member Deb Melchert was the recipient this past week of the second bundle of blooms through our .
As one of two owners of the downtown flower shop, I've committed to awarding one bouquet each week for an entire year. But we need our community to participate by continuing to nominate worthy recipients—like Deb.
She was nominated because she is constantly supporting and donating her time to military-related projects in the area. She's a member of the American Legion and also participates in several nonprofit organizations, often hopping on her motorcycle to escort servicemen and women on their trips home from deployment. She's a wonderful wonderful person who never asks for any recognition and she deserves it. Congratulations Deb!
