Classy Flowers Presents Yet Another Good Deed Bouquet

Due to circumstances, our Good Deed recipient was not able to personally receive our bouquet this past week.

Instead, four wonderful people accepted it on her behalf. They were Lori Waite, Lynn Annerino, Jeff Baker and Don Caddigan. The official honors go to Lisa Houchens.

She was nominated by someone who thought she deserved a little extra love. Lisa is a single parent of four boys who always finds time helping other single parents in the area. She's a center point of information, says the person who nominated her.

If there is a need or opportunity, Lisa shares it with a vast e-mail list of other Tinley Park moms. Lisa also helps by offering tips and info that benefits adults, such as job fairs and job openings. She has also made time to lead a study group for single parents at Park View Church.

At the beginning of the new school year, Lisa makes sure that many underprivileged children have backpacks filled with school supplies to start their new year. She is incremental in helping families at Thanksgiving and on Christmas, providing more than 400 families with gifts.

Because she is a fantastic, strong and amazing woman who would do anything to help another person, we know Lisa is deserving of our latest .
