How can we make sure no one else dies?

So last week on the news was an article about a man who was burned after trying to leave a hoarding home.  Then about 2 days later I met with a senior citizen who is trapped in her home due to hoarding and cannot seems to get unburied so she can move to a senior community.   When I stated the facts about what happens in a fire and what if EMT have to come and get you will they be able to.  I want to help people in situations that they do not know where to start I do not want to see any more people die due to hoarding in homes.   Please if you think someone you know has a hoarding situation try to talk with them about getting their situation under control and safe.  I would like to remind you all the readers of a past blog that I wrote hope this sparks your feeling to help (pardon the pun).

Extra clutter around your home can cause some serious problems. Blocked outlets and junk near the stove or furnace can lead to fires. Worse yet, a messy home make it difficult for firefighters, paramedics to provide help in the event of an emergency. It only takes 2 minutes to kill you in a fire if you are trapped.   When a fire happens piles fall, smoke is filling the room and you cannot see could you get out if that happened in your home.  You could lose your belongings, your home and even your life.
