IS THE WEATHER SCARING YOU?

We have had weeks of freezing cold weather, lots of snow, power outage, drafty house, lack of heat.  Is this a concern for yourself or your parents?  Is it time to start the process to relocate yourself or your parents to a home that you do not have to worry about a large home and all the upkeep?  I have talked with a lot of people and they are really sick of weather, if this is you then maybe relocation the answer.  But the first thing that needs to happen is downsizing, going through all areas of your home and making decisions as to what is needed in your next home.   You will most likely go smaller, so if you in a 4 bedroom home with lots of closets and storage.  Your next home will be a one to two bedroom home in 1/3 closets and hardly any storage.   All of this can be overwhelming for yourself, when you are a senior and have to take on this process, and making the decision as to what to give up or wait for their children to have time to help.   Starting slow is good so you do not get overwhelmed. Make tough decision if you have not used an item or wore something in 6 months to 1 year it is time to be passed on. Memories are a special area sort through and find the items that are most important.    If you still feel overwhelmed give KAT a call and we can help.   Contact us at via: contact Kristine Todd with KAT Organizing-Relocation Solutions by
