Your Tinley Park Bulldogs Help Together We Cope

Tinley Park Bulldogs baseball and softball collect food for Together We Cope during November registrations for spring season.

The baseball and softball programs began their spring registrations during the month of November.

During that time, families were asked to bring in a food donation that would go to the  . Any family who brought food would receive $5 off of their child's registration fee.

After the final registration on Saturday, Nov. 12, the food was packaged and delivered to . According to program director, Kerry Nolan, the Bulldogs collected 30 bags of food for a total of 462 pounds.

Created by the late Loraine Cook in 1982, Together We Cope's pantry provides food, clothing, shelter and referrals for needy south suburban residents. The organization is located at 17010 South Oak Park Ave. in .
