People if you love your dog and cat than show it by NOT patronizing places like this (Mocha Pet), Petland or Happiness is Pets etc. that 'sell' animals like part of their merchandise. There are hundreds of thousands of dogs dying every day in back rooms of shelters, yes, even the shelter in your neighborhood, because of people who continue to breed and sell. If you love animals you do not make money off their pain and suffering. Why don't you ask these people to see where these puppies come from...ask to see their ‘parents’, see the reality of how the breeding females and males look and how they are treated. I volunteer for a shelter and I see these poor things dumped after they've been all used up. PLEASE go to a shelter or rescue and literally save the life of a dog or cat you claim to love. Educate yourselves on where so many of these puppies come from and how they live, outdoors in tiny cages stacked one on top of the other, where they get little to no human contact…they are used and treated like any other ‘farm’ animal today. Shelter dogs and cats are no different than these puppies and kittens…except for the fact that some human let them down and dumped them here. Shelters have purebreds….I have rescued 5 gorgeous purebred boxers from rescues and shelters. Shelter and rescue dogs and cats come with health guarantees and are wonderful animals waiting for someone to save their lives. So get your next fur friend from a shelter or rescue and please go to places like Petsmart, Petco, Animal Krackers....etc, pet stores that have the best interest of the animals at heart, n-o-t their own bottom line.
