In Memory: Genevieve 'Pat' Bouchard

Genevieve "Pat" Bouchard, 85, of Orland Park, died May 30, and services were last week. She was a longtime volunteer and founding board member of the Crisis Center for South Suburbia, a nonprofit emergency shelter for victims of domestic violence.

Bouchard was board president from 1985-89 and was connected with the center for 26 years. Although she "retired" from the center in 2005, Bouchard was named as an honorary board member and continued to work with the center until 2012.
