1ST ANNUAL STEM SYMPOSIUM COMING TO SOUTH SUBURBAN COLLEGE

SOUTH HOLLAND, IL–South Suburban College will host their first annual STEM Symposium on Friday, April 4, 2014, from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at the college’s Main Campus in South Holland.  Students and educators of all levels are encouraged to attend this special event.

The STEM Symposium will feature a college and career expo related to STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math).  Presentations from science professionals will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center including an exciting finale provided by Fermi Lab’s Mr. Freeze.  Additional information will be ongoing in the college Atrium including displays and exhibits from students and instructors, college STEM program tables, STEM manufacturing and careers, employers such as GE, COM ED and Wrigley Co., and much more.
