block party and bar's

ok-I like the block party but the selling of alcohol on the steet should be banned there are kid's all up there and then you have the idiot's all plastered drunk fighting (especially with the heat) how come for the St. Patrick's Day parade the town goes all out and post sign's about public drinking (which is still done (start checking the solo cup's officer's) but the block party is all about the booze...it make's no sense..and maybe because it is a closed off block party you can walk around with all the alcohol you want..but why then entise kid's to go with all the kiddie stuff..it is a disgrace..and after the party just like the St.Patrick's Day parade when all the police who us taxpayer's pay to have a job disappear you see all the children (suppose to be responsible adult's) going back and fourth to the bar's with open alcohol in there hand's not one police car oh wait there is the one that hides out behind the fire station in the Holstein's lot and is inside having fun with the firepeople....it is absolutely ridiculous that there are 4 bar's in one area..and you know with the exception of a few everyone who leaves the bar and get's in their car is loaded..the police should stand by the door's and breathalyze each and everyone before they get in the car  if they are aloud to do drive by check's in parking lot's for no reason they should be aloud to check everyone that come's out of a bar...oh and the smoking thing why do cop's pass by and see everyone hovering around the doorway's (15ft people)...in Bailey's they smoke in the hallway..I was there and it was a firepeople party and they were smoking inside (off all people to set an example) at night since we pay these officer's a lot of money to just hideout in driveway's looking for you to do a U-turn..
