Help Together We Cope With a Click of Your Finger

We're on a mission. Patch and Together We Cope are partners in a campaign to raise awareness of the agency's good work helping people in the Southland. Can you lend a hand?

Together We Cope and your local Patch network lauched a campaign today to "Spread the Word" about .

The nonprofit organization's client base is growing by the day, which means they need your help more than ever before. And we want to make offering that hand as simple as possible.

Frequent visitors to Patch sites in the south suburbs know that each Patch is home to an extensive directory of local business, government and agency profiles. Many businesses have and are posting photographs and events to their listings in our directory. They also interact with members of the Patch community who leave reviews and ratings on their businesses and institutions.

Every claim puts the nonprofit organization one step closer to a free digital ad campaign on Patch. When 350 local businesses and organizations join our cause by claiming their business profile listing, Together We Cope will begin its first-ever online marketing campaign.

Claiming your business is easy. And it's FREE. It won't cost you a penny, but it will help a group of giving people spread the word about our friends and neighbors in crisis.

And every Friday, we will update our tally with the names of the businesses who've joined the "Spread the Word" campaign.

Our editors and local business advocates will be visiting local businesses for the next 30 days to talk about this initiative and help business owners and managers claim their listings on our sites. We will also be regularly discussing various aspects of Together We Cope's mission and how we all may help.

To join us, e-mail senior editor Dennis Robaugh or and tell us you want to help Together We Cope with a profile claim.
