school routes

Could you please make a mention of being extra cautious while driving on a school route. With all the snow and no shoveled sidewalks, kids are being forced to walk in the streets to get to school. With the snow piles growing wider from the plows, the roads are narrower, they are walking in the roadways. It is also very icy along the sides of the roads too. I watched in horror as a young girl slipped on oak park ave (in the road ) and almost went under a bus. Thank God she didn't. Anyways could you just put out a PSA regarding this matter.
