Silver Lake Voted Best Golf Course for Beginners

Patch asked for our readers' recommendations on the best golf course to start a beginner, and after two weeks of voting, Silver Lake pulled away as the winner.

For golfers who are just getting started, the right course could get them hooked—and the wrong one could make them bury the clubs in the back of the garage. 

Our Patch readers know all the best fairways, the trickiest water holes and the best-kept greens. For newcomers to the game, playing a tough course can be as daunting as tracking the ball looking into the sun. They're looking for a challenge, but don't want to hold up the foursome behind them.
