Accident Blocks Traffic at I-80 and Harlem
Traffic was stop-and-go between Interstate 57 and 80th Avenue because of an accident that blocked the right lane of westbound traffic.
A two-car accident near Harlem Avenue and Interstate 80 in Tinley Park slowed traffic Monday morning.

The accident occurred at about 11:30 a.m.

A silver car was in a ditch, and a black car blocking the right lane had its front end crushed. The silver car's rear end was damaged as well.

Police weren't immediately sure what caused the accident. One man was transported away in an ambulance with unknown injuries.
Mokena and firefighters responded, and the cars were being towed off the highway by about noon.
