Dodge Charger Goes Missing From Dealership Lot: Blotter

Tinley Park police reports, March 4-12. • Theft of shorts from Super K • Woman stops for coffee before trying to walk out with $175 worth of items from Super Target.

TUESDAY, MARCH 12

Theft of Shorts from Super K

Tahera A Memon, 57, of the 7800 block of Park Central Drive in Tinley Park, was charged with retail theft, according to a report. Employees of Super K, 16300 S. Harlem Ave., said Memon was stopped after she was seen removing three AT Dri shorts from a display, covering them with a plastic bag in a shopping cart and leaving the store. The woman is accused of taking $23.99 worth of items without paying.

She is due in Bridgeview court on April 30.

Alleged Thief Grabs Starbucks, Too

Morgan A. Sullins, 32, of the 2200 block of Collett Lane in Flossmoor, was charged with retail theft, according to a report. An employe of Super Target, 7300 West 191th St., told police he allegedly saw Sullins fill up a basket at about 5:30 p.m., pay for some of the groceries and then grab a coffee at Starbucks before walking outside. She is accused of not paying for $175.28 worth of items, including two rugs and 26 dinner plates and bowls.

She is due in Will County court on April 10.

MONDAY, MARCH 4

Charger Stolen From Dealership

A 2013 black Dodge Charger was reported stolen from Bettenhausen Dodge, 8355 159th St., according to a report. The theft was discovered during a monthly check of the car dealership’s inventory. The sales manager believe it was taken sometime between Feb. 1 and March 4.
