Tinley Park Police Search for Man Who Approached Andrew HS Student
A man ordered a student into his car Monday morning, as the student was walking to a bus stop. Police are looking for a man in a blue car with dice hanging from the mirror.

Tinley Park Police are looking for a man in a blue four-door Ford who approached an Andrew High School student Monday morning, according to an email to parents, from Principal Bob Nolting.
The man told the student to get into the car, as the student was walking to the bus stop near 159th and 76th Avenue. The student declined, and reported the incident to staff as soon as he arrived at school.

"I applaud this student for his quick thinking to get out of the situation and to inform school staff," Nolting wrote. "Please remind your children to remain aware of their surroundings when traveling to and from school. If they see anything suspicious, they should tell a trusted adult immediately. Working together, we can keep our students safe."
The police are looking for a white male with black hair, driving a blue, four-door Ford vehicle with dice hanging from the mirror.
