Blind Date Becomes Speed Dating for Tinley Park Man: Report

Samuel Messino, 26, was arrested on drunken driving, reckless driving, criminal recklessness and resisting law enforcement charges, after he led Portage police on a motorcycle chase during a blind date, the Times of Northwest Indiana reports.

When a woman tells a man to slow down on a blind she usually doesn't mean it so literally.

But a Tinley Park man showed he was a fast mover Wednesday night when he and his 25-year-old companion riding on the back of his motorcycle as he led police on a brief chase in Portage, IN, according to the Times of Northwest Indiana.

By the Times' account, that chase turned the date into a wreck—again, meant literally—as the pair suffered minor injures after being thrown from the cycle.
