Police: Man Caught Egging Woman's Car, Rock Meets Porsche

SUNDAY, MAY 13

Possible Break-in

A resident of the 19600 block of South Greenview Place in called to report that he believed someone was in his home overnight. The door to the laundry room was found open and so was the door to a vehicle that was parked in the garage, according to the report. However, nothing was missing.

Fraud

Danielle E. Overzet, 23, of the 12100 block of West 167th Street in Homer Glen, was arrested around 5:10 p.m. at the , 7850 W. 183rd St., , on a warrant for fraud. Overzet turned herself in, police said. Her bail was set at $2,500.

Man Caught Egging Woman's Car

Officers arrested Shaun T. McGinnis, 34, of the 7900 block of 164th Court in  around 2 p.m. near his home. McGinnis was reportedly drunk and throwing eggs at a resident's vehicle. The resident witnessed the act and called the cops, according to the report. "I observed that Shaun had what appeared to be egg residue on the front of his shirt in one spot," the report said. "I also smelled an odor of alcoholic beverage on Shaun's breath." He was charged with disorderly conduct.

WEDNESDAY, MAY 9

Rock Meets Porsche

A Porsche owner called police around 8:15 p.m. when she walked outside to her vehicle at Hamada's, 18310 N. Creek Drive in , and found that someone had thrown a rock through her back window. The woman knew of a possible suspect, according to reports, but police said that suspect was uncooperative. The victim planned to sign complaints, police said.

SATURDAY, MAY 5

Motorcycle Damaged

Sometime between 8 p.m. and 10 p.m., someone damaged a motorcycle that was parked on the north side of Texas Roadhouse, 18345 S. LaGrange Road in . The rear turn signal was broken off and hanging from its electrical wires, the owner said. The fender was also dented.
