Car Crashes into Tinley Park Roller Rink
No one was injured when a car struck the Tinley Park Roller Rink Wednesday afternoon.
The driver of a car that struck the Tinley Park Roller Rink Wednesday afternoon was taken to an area hospital as a precautionary measure, Tinley Park police said.
The driver of an SUV was northbound on Oak Park Avenue around 3 p.m., when another driver in an SUV attempted to turn northbound onto the road from 177th Street. The second driver struck the first car, then sending it careening into the building, officers said.
Damage to the building was minimal. The owner was not available for comment. The driver of the second car was cited for failure to yield.
