Chicago Man Charged in ATM Armed Robbery

U.S. Marshals arrested LaShaun Evans, 33, on Wednesday in connection to an August holdup at a Citibank ATM in Tinley Park, police report.

A Chicago man has been arrested and charged in an armed holdup at an ATM in August, according to a Tinley Park Police report.

LaShaun Evans, 33, of the 1700 block of South Kingston Avenue in Chicago, was charged with armed robbery after being taken into custody in Chicago on Wednesday, Nov. 7, by U.S. Marshals, the report stated. He is currently being held in the Cook County Jail on $250,000 bond.

. He then pulled a "silver handgun" on the victim, who was making a deposit, and took off with an undisclosed amount of money. No one was hurt in the incident.

No information was released on how Evans was captured.
