Concert Tickets: Tallying Summer Citations (July 3)

Keep track with Tinley Park Patch as the drinking tickets and other citations pour in for those at the First Midwest Bank Amphitheatre. Today's report is an addendum to last week's list of run-ins from the Luke Bryan concert.

Summer is the season that tends to bring out the urge to have some fun while the weather is nice. And that urge can go hand in hand with poor judgment.

One spot in Tinley Park where people like to have fun is checking out a concert at First Midwest Bank Amphitheater. And while the majority of people who attend events are well-behaved (except those rowdy Yo-Yo Ma fans), some can act in an unacceptable manner. This summer, Patch will be keeping tracking of select citations handed out by the Tinley Park Police Department at the venue during concerts. It's something we like to call the Concert Tickets. It's not something you want to pick up at the box office.

LUKE BYRAN CONCERT (JUNE 15)

Updates from the event added this week. Check out the other police reports from the concert:

Lost Purse: A 38-year-old woman from Arkansas lost her purse while at the venue, according to a report. She left the purse in her seat and moved closer to the stage for a photo. When she returned, the red leather clutch was gone. It had her driver's license and some makeup.

Battery: A 32-year-old Joliet woman told police another woman dumped a beer on her head after cutting in line, according to a report. The woman also hit her, the victim said. She returned to the line with venue security, and the woman hit her again in front of security personnel. The alleged victim, however, refused to sign a battery complaint.
