Cops: Wanted Man Sleeps on Day Care Lawn

Tinley Park police said they found a man who was wanted out of the Cook County Sheriff's Office taking an afternoon snooze last month in front of a local day care center.

recently arrested a man who they said was found sleeping in front of a local day care center.

Officers were called May 18 to Bobbie Noonan's Child Care, 17051 Grissom Drive, regarding a suspicious man who was stumbling around the parking lot and bumping into vehicles, according to the police report. When the cops got to the scene at 2:12 p.m., they reportedly found Dale A. Underiner, 29, of the 15700 block of Terrace Drive in Oak Forest.

Underiner was sleeping in the front of the day care center, they said. He was also found to have an active warrant out of the Cook County Sheriff's office. He was arrested on that warrant and his bail was set at $5,000, police said.
