County Animal Truck Damaged During Service: Blotter

Tinley Park police report, Nov. 14.

A Cook County animal control truck was damaged while it was being serviced earlier this month.

The damage happened sometime between 9 a.m. on Nov. 8 and 9:45 a.m. on Nov. 12 and was centered on the hood and animal door on the site of the truck, according to a Tinley Park police report.

The animal control officer noticed the damage to the door when she went to pick up the truck, the report states. She filed a report with police on Nov. 14.

Police contacted the Tinley Park dealership where the service was done, the report states. They did not have any security cameras pointed toward where the truck was parked.

No arrests were reported.
