Cracker Barrel 'Pervert' Served Trespass Warning

A regular at Cracker Barrel in Tinley Park was recently asked to never return to the restaurant, thanks to his propensity to share dirty jokes and comments with the waitresses there, police said.

said they recently issued a trespass warning to a 76-year-old local man who employees at the Cracker Barrel commonly refer to as "pervert." 

The man was dining at the restaurant, 18531 North Creek Drive in , between 6:30 p.m. and 7:20 p.m. Aug. 17, the report said. He made an inappropriate joke during that time to a staff member and a manager said it wasn't the first time the man had said something "off color." The joke wasn't listed in the police report report.

A manager confronted the man and told him he was no longer welcome there, to which he reportedly said, "I've been eating here since before you were born and you can't stop me from coming here …" He also told the manager he would return with his friends "who are bikers," police said.

The manager followed the man out of the restaurant and gave his license plate to police.

When they found him in his 169th Street apartment to issue him the no trespassing notice, he said he was wondering what took them so long, according to the report.
