There was not an actual fire inside Tinley Park Village Hall Monday, staff said.

Tinley Park Village Hall was evacuated Monday afternoon, after a fire alarm sounded.

Tinley Park police and fire were called to the scene, 16250 S. Oak Park Ave., around 3:30 p.m. and determined there was no fire, said Interim Village Manager Mike Mertens.

Staff re-entered the building around 3:50 p.m.
