Families Targeted by Egg-Wielding Mischief Makers: Blotter

A family that was away from their home in the 8000 block of Nielsen Drive for a couple of days returned to find a Virgin Mary statue thrown off the front porch and Halloween pumpkins smashed on the concrete, according to a report. The damage happened sometime between midnight on Nov. 1 and midnight on Nov. 3.

Eggs were thrown at a car parked in the 17800 block of 65th Avenue, according to a report. The owner of the car was notified by another person's daughter that the car had been egged by 11 p.m. The eggs had caused small circles of damage to the car.

A man who lives with his family in the 9400 block of Quail Crossing told police he was concerned that they were being target by mischievous people, according to a report. Eggs and pumpkins had been thrown at their house, garage and driveway three times between Oct. 1 and Nov. 2.
