A team of four shoplifters was busted at Walmart for attempting to leave the store with more than $500 worth of video games.
Police say four men from Joliet were arrested Oct. 24 after security staff at Walmart in the 500 block of E. Route 30, spotted them leaving the store without paying for a stack of video games.
The four were identified as:
- Ivory Blackwell, 20
- Bryson Carter, 18
- James Haydon-Winters, 20
- Shaquan Meadows-Tanzy, 19
According to the report, employees from the store identified them as allegedly the same team that walked off with cell phones on Oct. 19. All four were taken to the Will County jail. Carter and Blackwell were charged with felony retail theft and bond was set at $25,000 and $15,000 respectively. Haydon-Winters and Meadows-Tanzy were charged with misdemeanor theft.
