Limo Driver Goes Easy on Deadbeat Clients: Blotter

A driver for a Schaumburg-based limo company decided not to press charges on a group who stiffed him in Tinley Park.

A dispute over the cost for a limo ride to a Tinley Park hip hop concert left one driver holding the bill, according to a report.

A driver for a Schaumburg-based limo company picked up a group of people at about 7:30 p.m. on Aug. 11 from Fairfield Inn, 18500 block of North Creek Drive, the Tinley Park police report states. He drove them to and back from the Lil Wayne concert at First Midwest Bank Amphitheater.

After arriving at the hotel, the group refused to pay the $396 bill for the limo ride, the report states. Several people yelled at driver, saying the price was too high, before leaving the limo and heading back into the hotel.
