Man Banned From Amphitheatre, Counterfeit Concert Tickets, and More

Also in police reports dated July 27, someone steals wake and knee boards from a garage and a man is accused of shoplifting tents, lawn furniture and clothing from Kmart.

Wake, Knee Boards Taken

A wake board and knee board were stolen from a garage in the 8700 block of Glenberry Lane in between 5 p.m. July 26 and 9:30 a.m. July 27. The resident who called police said the overhead door was closed for the majority of that time frame, but may have been left open when the woman's husband left for work. 

Shoplifting Lawn Furniture, Clothing

Police said they arrested a man who had stolen more than $500 worth of merchandise from the Kmart on Harlem Avenue before leaving in his vehicle.

Troy R. Frame, 51, of the 300 block of Plum Creek Drive in Schererville, Ind., was frazzled when police pulled him over near the intersection of Harlem Avenue and 183rd Street in . He told them he was having a panic attack, according to the report.

A Kmart employee went to the scene and confirmed that Frame was the one she saw stealing camping equipment, lawn furniture and clothing from the store around 1 p.m., the report said. The items totaled $546.52, police said, and Frame filled his cart with them before leaving without paying. He was charged with retail theft and driving with a suspended driver's license, police said. His bail was set at $1,500.

Man Banned From Amphitheatre

Police arrested Benjamin C. Lucas, 21, of the 600 block of Wellner Road in Naperville, around 9:30 p.m. at the First Midwest Bank Amphitheatre, 19100 Ridgeland Ave., . He had been asked several times to leave the theater, staff said, and police even called him a taxi to help with the process. He wouldn't leave, however, and was taken into custody, police said.

Counterfeit Wiz Khalifa Concert Tickets

Officers arrested a 26-year-old who they said was selling fake tickets during a recent concert at the First Midwest Bank Amphitheatre, 19100 Ridgeland Ave., Tinley Park. Gregory A. Valentin, of the 11600 block of South Knox in Alsip, was charged with one count of deceptive practices. Theater security guards told police Valentin was trying to sell photoshopped tickets to the Wiz Khalifa concert at the north plaza entrance. He admitted that the tickets were fake, the report said, and was selling them for $75. His bail was set at $1,500.
