Man Breaks Into Liquor Store, Steals Lottery Tickets
Police have surveillance footage of a Saturday morning smash 'n grab at a liquor store on 183rd Street in Tinley Park.
Cops responded at 3:53 a.m. Saturday to an activated burglar alarm at a local liquor store, where they said someone had shattered the storefront's glass and made off with a lottery ticket machine.
When got to CD Liquors, 8005 W. 183rd St., , they found a large rock inside a broken glass door and a handful of scattered lottery tickets, according to the report. Neighboring businesses were untouched.
Video surveillance shows a man breaking the door, entering the store, "hastily removing a dispenser containing Illinois Lottery tickets from a countertop near the glass door," and exiting carrying it, the report said.

The owner of the store notified the Illinois Lottery of the stolen tickets, he told police. Cops are looking into leads, including one of a suspicious white car that was reported in the parking lot around 3:50 a.m., the report said.
