Man Brings 45 Grams of Pot to Wiz Khalifa Concert, Police Say

The marijuana, which the man told police was "for his friends to use during the concert," was separated into 36 tiny bags, according to the report.

Police recently arrested a man who they said had two large Ziplock bags in his shirt at the Wiz Khalifa concert that were filled with 36 smaller bags of marijuana.

Brandford T. Egan, 20, of the 200 block of North Dee Road in Park Ridge, was arrested at the First Midwest Bank Amphitheatre, 19100 S. Ridgeland Ave., , around 7 p.m. July 27.

Officers were called there after security staff told them they saw Egan get out of his car and stuff the bags inside his shirt. He reportedly tried to run when they went to detain him, but was in custody at the security office when the cops rolled up.

Officers brought him to the , where they said the "green, leafy substance" tested positive for the presence of marijuana. The gross weight of the pot was 45 grams, according to the report. One of the bags contained 16 smaller bags of marijuana and the other, 20, police said.

Egan told police the pot was for he and his friends during the concert. He was charged with felony possession of marijuana.
