Meet Tinley Park's Newest Cop

The Tinley Park Village Board Feb. 4 welcomed the newest member of its police force.

Tinley Park, you have a brand new police officer patrolling your streets.

Meet Timothy Graves. Graves is a Lansing native, who majored in accounting in college. But after college, he returned to his family's roots in the police force. Graves, whose grandfather was a Chicago police officer, was sworn in as a Tinley Park officer at the village board's Feb. 4 meeting.

"This is what I always wanted to do growing up," he said.
