Police Blotter: Bottle Breaks Window; Disappearing Credit Cards

THURSDAY, SEPT. 15

Bottle Breaks Window

A custodian said that sometime between 2:30 p.m. Sept. 14 and 1:30 p.m. Sept. 15, someone threw an empty glass bottle of liquor at a window at Walker Intermediate School, 19900 S. 80th Ave., . The bottle broke the window, according to the report, and damage will cost about $200.

Disappearing Credit Cards

A 57-year-old woman who was pumping gas at Speedway, 7201 W. 183rd St., told that two of her credit cards were missing after she left the station. The cards were last seen hanging from her clothing in an "alligator clip" around 2 p.m., the report said.

Warrant Arrest

Rahman Stevenson, 18, of the 10700 block of South Vernon in Chicago, was arrested around 9:50 a.m. at an unspecified location on a warrant out of Will County for identity theft.

SUNDAY, SEPT. 11

Vehicle Break-in

A  woman visiting Howe Developmental, 7600 W. 18rd St., Tinley Park, called police after she realized that between 12:30 p.m. and 2:20 p.m., her car had been broken into. She said she left the windows cracked and locked the doors before leaving. When she got back, the doors were unlocked and two credit cards were missing from her purse. A total of $200 in cash was also missing, the report said.
