Curse Words Spray-Painted
A resident called when she found two curse words— bi--- and wh--- — spray-painted using silver paint in her driveway in the 18100 block of Semmler Drive in . . The woman said she believed someone defaced her property between 10:30 a.m. Oct. 1 and 6:30 a.m. Oct. 2.
Air Conditioners Snatched
A resident of the 17800 block of Ridgeland Avenue in Tinley Park, called police to report that sometime between 6 p.m. Sept. 28 and 6 p.m. Oct. 2, someone stole an air conditioner from the north side of her house. The copper lines and electrical power had been severed with cable cutters, according to the report. The house is up for sale.

Residential Burglary and Retail Theft
Darien E. Williams, 19, of the 9400 block of South Vanderpoel Avenue in Chicago, was arrested around 9:50 p.m. in the 13300 block of South Halsted in Riverdale on a warrant out of the . He was charged with residential burglary and retail theft. His bail was set at $5,000. Additional information wasn't immediately available Tuesday afternoon.

Forgery
Edgar Castaneda, 18, of the 16900 block of South 89th Avenue in Orland Hills, was arrested around 5:15 p.m. at the , 7850 W. 183rd St. He was charged with forgery.
