Two Years of Fake Prescriptions

Someone used a Tinley Park man’s name and insurance information to place 32 prescriptions for a painkiller called Tramadol at a Walgreens in Westmont, Ill., since May 2009, police said. The man found out about the fraudulent prescriptions on May 15 when the Walgreens texted him to say his prescription was ready for pick-up. He reported the incident to Tinley Park police on May 20 on the advice of the Westmont police.
